About us
Germinare provides the opportunity to progress through education to children seeking a chance to overcome their socio-economic situation, giving them access to better long-term academic training. The Foundation focuses its efforts on those children who can drive a permanent change in their community in the short term and in society in the long term. GERMINARE searches for community leaders to overturn the benefits they received through the Foundation and thus help to reach as many people as possible.
Why did we develop our programs?
The main problem children from a low-income background are facing is the difficulty to use all their potential, which would help them develop fully as individuals so they can improve their lives and the reality around them in their community. The minimum percentage of them who, having the energy, will, potential and effort, could break this cycle of poverty, are led to believe that their progress is virtually impossible because the rules latent in society dictate so. Therefore, through access to a good level of education, what GERMINARE searches for is to give an opportunity and cause a real impact on the individuals life, family, community, etc.

The Foundation focuses its efforts on those children who can drive a permanent change in their community in the short term and in society in the long term.
The selection reflects the inability to work with all the children who now live on the margins because not all have the same needs or concerns, or are willing to carry out the sustained effort that the “Agents for Change” program requires. For this reason, GERMINARE searches for community leaders to overturn the benefits they received through the Foundation and thus help to reach as many people as possible.
